Kingdom of Hate - Movistar Arena 2009 (Chile)

Kingdom of Hate es Necrosis la legendaria banda de Thrash Metal chilena de los ochenta. Este movimiento surgio como una alternativa a la chata propuesta musical de nuestro pais de fines de los setenta y comienzo de los ochenta. Si bien se enmarcaban en el contexto de las bandas de barrio se diferenciaban de las bandas rockeras mas convencionales de la epoca por tener mejores recursos y ademas cantaron siempre en ingles. Bandas como Pentagram, Dorso, Warpath y Necrosis tuvieron un peso increible, llenaban locales como el Manuel Plaza y su publico thrash fue y sigue siendo uno de los mas fieles e incondicionales. Necrosis edito un vinilo en Brasil y toco en Sao Paulo junto a los consagrados Korzus y Ratos de Porao. Llegaron a ser casi un mito, pues dejaron de existir cuando el movimiento metalero en Chile comenzo a tener un segundo aire a mediados de los noventa. La base del grupo son Andres Marchant y Nataniel Infante. Lamentablemente un personaje que fue batero ocasional en los inicios de la banda se adueño del nombre y formo un Necrosis que no tiene nada que ver con los originales integrantes. Hoy la dupla del Cabrio y Nata regresa con el nombre de Kingdom of Hate. Han teloneado a los mejores del metal que han visitado Chile y este año fueron invitados por la productora que trajo a Dio junto a Heaven and Hell en uno de los mejores conciertos del año en el Movistar Arena de Santiago. Esta grabacion corresponde a la presentacion de Kingdom of Hate, grabada de la mesa, el sonido 100 puntos y la calidad de la presentacion mejor. Gracias a KoH por este regalito, una exclusividad que espero apecien los metaleros. Esto es el verdadero y unico Necrosis.

Rock Duro y Pesado - Varios 1985 (Chile)

En Chile el rock de barrio es una realidad enquistada que partio a fines de los setenta como respuesta a la restriccion que la dictadura impuso a la realizacion de espectaculos masivos y al hostigamiento que sufrio la cultura, la que incluyo al rock. Fue asi como en los barrios y poblaciones perifericas de Santiago funcionaron locales, gimnasios, pubs y otros espacios que se transformaron en puntos de encuentro donde se respiraba algo mas que libertad. Algunas comunas alojaron bandas que hoy son parte de la mitologia de nuestro rock. Sin recursos y a puro pulso, con guitarras hechizas, amplificadores penosos se daban maña para sonar lo mejor posible. Tumulto fue un icono de estas bandas y la Sala Lautaro un templo. Bandas como Electroshock y Ekkos acompañaron las maratonicas tocatas que partian el viernes en la noche y terminaban de mañana el sabado. Otro procer del rock marginal es Francisco Carrasco conocido como Panchorrata, puntal del rock de Pudahuel (hoy Cerro Navia) quien al margen del sistema lleva 30 años entregando su propuesta. Este cassette fue producido por Panchorrata, pese a lo artesanal y los limitados recursos en los persas de Santiago se encontraban las produciones de estos grupos, las que dejan testimonio del sonido de estos grupos que la rompieron en los ochenta.

Against All Hope se constituyó en Enero de 2008 en Tenerife por Ruymán, Víctor, Jose, Tomy y Pablo. Proveniente de distintos grupos de la escena local Tinerfeña (Underego, Scrawl), la banda trata de explorar nuevas rutas de creación a partir de la herencia del Death Metal de bandas como Meshuggah, At The Gates, In-Quest, Job For a Cowboy, All Shall Perish, Aborted y The Black Dahlia Murder, además de aderezar con unos toques del Deathcore vanguardista de la escena norte americana (Suicide Silence, Whitechapel), en la busca de contundencia, precisión, riffs extremos, estructuras desconcertantes y atmósferas envolventes.

Recientemente han publicado su primer EP autoproducido “For Teh Lulz”, que cuenta con 3 temas “The Pleasure of Hate”, “Squalophobia” y “Amnesia”, y que se encuentra disponible gratuitamente en Internet [1]. Además, el videoclip de “The Pleasure of Hate” ha sido recientemente publicado en youtube [2].
